The Company's consolidated asbestos ARO asset was US$2.7 million at both Dec. 31, 2008 and Dec. 31, 2007.
The Connecticut Light and Power Company's asbestos ARO liabilities were US$12.6 million at Dec. 31, 2008, compared with US$11.8 million at Dec. 31, 2007.
CL&P's asbestos ARO asset was US$1.6 million at both Dec. 31, 2008 and Dec. 31, 2007.
