ASBESTOS LITIGATION: Harris Lawsuit Filed v. 44 Firms on Feb. 26 An asbestos-related lawsuit styled Julia Harris vs. A.W. Chesterton et al. was filed on Feb. 26, 2009 in Jefferson County District Court, Tex., The Southeast Texas Record reports. The plaintiff, on behalf of her deceased husband's estate, is suing 44 makers/distributors/users of asbestos products for allegedly conspiring to inflict her husband with an asbestos- related illness. The plaintiff is seeking punitive and exemplary damages, plus damages for Anthony Harris' mental anguish, lost wages, medical expenses and impairment. Lou Thompson Black, Esq., represents Mrs. Harris. Judge Bob Wortham will preside over Case No. A183-387. |
