ASBESTOS LITIGATION: Deere Subject to Product Liability Lawsuits
Deere & Company is still subject to various unresolved legal actions which arise in the normal course of its business, the most prevalent of which relate to product liability (including asbestos-related liability), retail credit, software licensing, patent and trademark matters.
No other asbestos-related matters were disclosed in the Company's latest quarterly report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Headquartered in Moline, Ill., Deere & Company makes farm equipment. The Company also produces construction, forestry, industrial, and lawn-care equipment.
